Conference Level

There are 75 conferences belonging to the Archdiocesan Council of San Antonio.  The majority   of the conferences are located in San Antonio.  However, there are also conferences  located in the following cities/towns:

        Leon Springs                   Helotes              Von Ormy          

        Castroville                        Hondo                 Uvalde

        Del Rio                             Eagle Pass        Boerne

        Dilley                                 Floresville           Stonewall

Each conference operates a little differently from the others.  They vary in the days and the hours of the week that they operate.  Although all conferences give some type of food assistance, only a few have a clothing room and furniture assistance.  The amount of financial assistance given to a person or family also varies from conference-to-conference.  Variation in services is usually determined by one or more of the following factors:

• The amount of physical space (if any) given by the parish to the conference    for operations and storage.
• The amount of financial support given by the parish or parishioners to the conference to assist those in need.
• The number of members in the SVDP conference.
